Leone- A Photogrammetry project

A set piece I made back in 2021- I was having a look through an old castle in Brescia- when I happened upon the statue of a lion. I took over 200 photographs in RAW format, which I then placed and rendered in 3D in RealityCapture. Since RC also caught some of the background as a 3D model, I exported it into Maya where I was able to delete the unecessary mesh. RealityCapture also caught the stone material of the statue as a normal and color map with UVs which I was able to apply in Maya. The final product was then exported and rendered in Unreal Engine 4.
